Power Vacuum Services

• Allow for start-up chemicals to percolate for 1-2 days after pool is opened to allow for debris to settle.
• Shock runs through the system, dissolves within 24-48 hours.
• Dirtier pools eat through the shock quicker (12-24 hours) as the shock is working harder to fight against the grime and muck.
  • If you are not able to see the bottom of the pool or the pool is GREEN once the cover is removed, your pool will not be ready for a power vacuum.
  • Dingman Pools recommends adding 1 gallon of liquid shock or 1 -2 lbs of granular shock (depending on the size of the pool) every 48 hours until you can see the bottom of the pool.
• Once the debris have settled and you are able to see the bottom of the pool, you can contact our office to get on our power vac schedule.
• Our technician returns to power vacuum the debris out of the water and will top off any chemicals needed in order to balance the water chemistry.
